1. purchase this kit, the same LED backlit kit I used in my x62 for years w/o any issue.

2. cut the CCFL lamp tube wire from the bottom of your LCD panel and carefully draw that tube from one side, don't break that b/c mercury inside.
3. insert the LED backlit stick into where the CCFL lamp tube was removed, you need to adjust the position and angle of the stick for perfect display after STEP 4
4. use the driving pannel in the LED kit instead of the original one (the original is build for providing power for CCFL lamp tube, not LED, hence not compatible with the LED backlit)
5. do adjustment mentioned in STEP 3
