【求助】C400无法升级BIOS的问题
从Dell网站(www.dell.com.cn)下载的BIOS文件——"A12-C400.exe"从XP下运行，选择“英语”，最后提示重启计算机，OK后重启
但重启时没见到BIOS升级进程的画面，还是照常进系统后用cpu-z查也是原来的A09版本
再重启，BIOS自检画面也显示版本是A09
后来又运行了N遍升级程序，每次都重启，版本号还是没变！
请问升级过的大侠是我哪个步骤漏掉了吗？
先谢谢啦！ 把杀软,防火墙关掉 怀疑C盘为NTFS格式的缘故，又从Dell网站上下了个DOS下的升级程序，拷贝到Fat32格式的D盘上，装了个虚拟DOS（MaxDOS，或者vFloppy应该也行），重新引导进DOS运行升级程序，这次成功了，开机版本号已经成最新的A12了！

升级有什么好处吗？
机器正常用的话升级不是必须的，下面是Dell官方给出的新版BIOS(2004.3)说明：

The following modifications were made to the A11 BIOS to create A12:
Issues Fixed:
1. Fixed issue in which the system continues to report the status
of the original battery if a battery swap is performed while in
Standby.
2. Optimized the battery charging algorithm.
3. Removed the SMBIOS Type D4h audio tokens since they do not have
any effect. The audio mode is always "full duplex".
The BIOS release has been validated on the following operating systems:
1. Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
2. Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition APM Only
3. Microsoft Windows 2000 ACPI
