【原创】关闭computrace的经历分享给大家
在论坛商家买了一台X230，顺丰到付，昨天早上验货时打开进BIOS（我买的带内存可以进BIOS），发现有computrace锁（我担心机器随时会被锁，刷BIOS也会出问题），就拍照给卖家，本想拒收，但避免扯皮还是付钱签收了，网购十年了，还没拒收过别人。也想试试能否搞定，搞不定就搭来回邮费退了。然后就上论坛找到 https://www.ibmnb.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1670618 楼主帖子里写的两个邮箱地址，一个亚太，一个总部。先发邮件给亚太的，邮箱地址无效被退回了，然后总部的发过去，没回复
（发完看到这两个邮箱名应该都是销售部门的，也管不了，就不抱希望了）。
只能上Absolute官网看看有没有解决方法，我英语阅读还行，找到https://www.absolute.com/en/support/contact/security，这里可以填个表，所有的输入框都是必填项，填真实的，留下自己邮箱，描述那里写清楚，输完提交。此时我们是下午，老外应该还没起床。
昨晚6点半就收到回复了，要我提供序列号（不用其他的），还教我怎么获取序列号。我就回了，大概两个小时后又收到回信，说已经帮我移除，要我之后48小时内要联网，软件会自动删除完成。还有其他不重要的提醒。
到今天中午，我发现解除了，进BIOS没提示，我进去永久关闭。最后发一封邮件，告诉他已经解决了，表示感谢（实际上只要填个表描述清楚，发一个邮件告诉序列号就可以了）。老外做事很负责，这点小事还管。
从我填表到解除只用了十几小时，有效率。
后来，我又在浏览官网时，发现有两个中国的技术支持联系电话，电话号码格式没看明白。

越来越多方法了,可惜两年前我遇到的时候一个成功的例子都没有...上面中国的电话好像也只提供英文服务. 北京的800电话
坛友那里收的一台X220也有这个东西。一开始没进BIOS，收货确认后有次进BIOS发现了……
郁闷。
参照楼主的方法看能不能解除。 学好英语多么重要……

还是直接写买的二手电脑，需要关闭这个功能？ 我的220也有这玩意，看来要考验英语
看楼主给的链接，是有粤语和普通话的。明天打电话试试。
服务申请也提交了，不知道会不会帮忙处理。

这效率，真快啊，8点49份就收到邮件让提供序列号，现在提供了
这玩意在哪里可以看到？ 老外這辦事效率贊一個！

如果是开启的，进bios会首先跳出这个红字的框。也就是说，只要进bios没有跳出这个框，机器的computrace就是未开启状态。 嗯 晚上7点半发的邮件，8点就回了楼主贴的第一个邮件。

直接说淘宝买的二手货 现在郁闷了。界面显示是打开状态，但absolute又说已经关了……

但我重刷了BIOS，还是没办法改。有人遇到过么？接下来怎么处理？
找到一段话，说怎么在windows里把相关的东西删除并禁用服务，但我的系统没有存在所说的文件和服务：

Computrace can be stopped: Do the following:
1) START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL> ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS> SERVICES> find RPC ( Remote Procedure Call ) NET and/or Service. Right click and Properties, set to Automatic and stop the serive.
2) C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM 32\ Find these 4 files RPCNET.dll + RPCNETP.DLL + RPCNET.EXE + RPCNETP.EXE ( Do the following to each file )
3) Delete each file. DO NOT REBOOT. Open WORD PAD. Type and "Save As" ( without quotes ). Name the file as the one it will replace above. Do this for all 4 files. Once they are all replaced with the "VOID" (bogus file ) Right click on each file and change the attribute to READ ONLY > APPLY > OK.
To check and make sure it has worked, reboot your machine. Go to Services and check your RPC process and see if it has re started. If it restarted then you did something wrong with the above files, retry and reboot and recheck. Remember, if you delete one or all the files without stopping the service the files WILL come back automatically. Also you will not be able to delete RPCNET.exe if the service IS started. It must be done in the order above.
I know this works because i've tested it. Keep in mind, even with the above done correctly Computrace WILL still show in BIOS but will pretty much be a dummy computrace.现在不知道怎么弄了……

邮件说帮你移除功能，其实不是实时的，我的等了一晚上加一个早上，还有那个rpcnet进程不要动他；
步骤2 那三个文件在C:\Windows\SysWOW64下；//如果你装的是win7 64位系统
他说按这三个步骤做后，即使还会显示computrace，追踪功能也是废了；
你就试试这三个步骤
Mark ，这个非常有用。等下周一老外上班后，试一下。 我的hp840也有这个问题，锁系统，没锁BIOS。寄给卖家了。不行的话，完了试试 开机后出现这样的问题不知道是不是一个。adsolute是活跃状态 按照楼主的方法，我给手头的 T60 也申请了解锁，对方回复邮件说让我机器连网，会自动卸载。但都过去6个小时了，进BIOS还是有提示，是不是非得插着网线？还是只能在这48小时内解锁？对方的邮件很简单

就这点东西，这玩意解锁有时间限制么？{:1_333:} 楼主用的什么网络？我这移动的网络有影响吗？刚看了下，computrace提示还在，郁闷了{:1_330:} 我已经中标了，只是bios里面打开了computrace的激活，老外说服务器里面看不见我，的确我自己在电脑里也看不见rpcnet进程，我系统是win10旗舰版。很奇怪的现象，老外说不能帮我，我说我可以装程序激活再帮我啊{:1_244:} koshida 发表于 2017-6-30 11:06
