T70 1029 problem C333
Hi, sorry for writing in English, I'm from Germany.I have a problem with my T70 board. At startup, everything is fine. After a moment, Windows 10 shows power surge on USB port every 4 seconds. And bluetooth is not recognised. After a few minutes the system gets unresponsive. At the end, I get a bluescreen, saying: DPC Watchdog Violation
I removed everything, even the screen and the cage. Only motherboard, RAM and keyboard. The problem persists.
Then I measured the 3.3V line at the display port. From 3.3V to GND. Across C333. I measured 140 ohms when cold, even less when warm. Probably the capacitor C333 is broken.
I could solder a new capacitor in place. What is the capacity of C333?
I would like to avoid shipping to China but I don't want to lose warranty. What should I do?

I already did this. All USB ports work fine except the one at the display connector where the bluetooth module is connected. The bluetooth module uses USB with a 3.3V power line. From the display connector, pins 18, 20, 22 and 24 go to the bluetooth module connector at the display cable. 20 and 22 are the data pins, 24 is ground and 18 is +3.3V. Pin 18 is coupled to ground via C333.
As the resistance from pin 18 to ground is too low, either C333 is broken or the voltage regulator is faulty. I think, C333 is more probable.

Before I tried to flash the new BIOS, I noticed that the problem is worse now. Windows and Windows installers won't start anymore. I tried Windows 10 and Windows 8, I tried two different USB sticks, I tried installing Windows on another machine and then plugging the SSD into the T70. The result was always the same.

Ubuntu is running fine, except that it doesn't recognise the bluetooth module.
After running for a few minutes, C333 was slightly warm, 30°C when the room temperature was 24°C.

I installed a 2.5" SATA SSD (Crucial M4).
I already tried to install Windows 10 again. The T70 does freeze when starting from a Windows installation USB drive. Like in the picture above. I tried this with two different USB drives, one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0.
When I first posted here on July 21, I had this issue when the system was warm after a bluescreen. After cooldown for an hour, it worked again. Now, I have this issue always, even when the T70 is cool.
