To install the Secure Digital Host Controller driver, do the following:
For Windows XP:
Click Start then Control Panel
Click Printers and Other Hardware
Click Add Hardware (on the left under See Also)
Click Next then select Yes, I have already connected the hardware and click Next
Select PCI Device, then click Next and Finish. The Hardware Update wizard will start
Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and click Next
Select Search for the best driver in these locations
Check Include this location in the search: then input the location C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\SDIO and click Next
Follow the instructions to complete the installation
For Windows 2000:
Click Start, Settings, Control Panel
Click Add/Remove Hardware
Click Next, select Add/Troubleshoot a device and click Next
Select PCI Device and click Next followed by Finish. The Upgrade Device Driver wizard will start.
Select Search for a suitable driver for my device and click Next
Check Specify a location and click Next
Input the location C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\SDIO and click OK
Follow the instructions to complete the installation
To install the Secure Digital Storage Device driver, do the following:
Insert the Secure Digital Storage Device into the SD card Slot. This will start the Found New Hardware wizard.
Follow the instructions to install from the location of C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\SDIO and complete the installation.
